Summer 2012

  Jaclyn Tilak

Jaclyn is in her fourth year of Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University. She joined SOCAAR in the summer of 2012 as part of an internship with the Centre for Global Change Science at the University of Toronto. Her research focused on comparing temperature protocols used to quantify the concentration of black carbon in ambient air. Aerosol samples from College Street were collected onto quartz filters and analyzed using thermal-optical analysis in a Sunset OCEC Analyzer.
