Seyed Mohammad Seyed Mohaghegh received his Bachelor (BSc 1990) and Master’s degree (MSc 1993) in Organic Chemistry from University of Tehran, Iran. He did his PhD (2004) in Polymer Engineering (Chemical Engineering), at Iran Polymer & Petrochemical Institute, on the topic ofSynthesis and Characterization of Aqueous Polyurethane Elastomer Dispersions, Study of Their Blends Properties and Conductivity. He is a university Professor in Polymer Engineering, at Iran Polymer & Petrochemical Institute (IPPI) in Polymer Science Department. In November 2011, he joined Prof. Farnood’s research group at the University of Toronto, as a Visiting Professor and Research Associate, on a project related to the synthesis and modified of lignin as a conductive polymer and the development a new technology using some environmental friendly chemicals (green chemistry) for the metal aging process.
