For inquiries about our Particle Size Analyzer (PSA), please contact Leo Shen (leonardo.shen@mail.utoronto.ca); for ideal performance, the particles should be non-reactive in water and insoluble in water. Details about our equipment can be found in the Facilities page.
To request analytical work, please contact Georgiana Moldoveanu for ICP-OES or Leo Shen for PSA, and fill in an APEC Job Request Form. Depending on the number of samples in a single request, the time required for processing each sample may vary.
Self-serve usage of equipment is available for those who have been trained by APEC members. Mandatory 2-part hands-on training is priced at $200/hour. Training to use the ICP-OES takes 2 hours, and training for the PSA takes 1 hour.
