Jocelyn graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. At the University of Toronto, Jocelyn first gained experience with electrochemical characterization and the design of aluminum ion batteries for applications to energy storage technology. She joined Prof. Werber’s group in 2023 and established the electrochemical equipment and expertise for the lab and is designing membranes for ion separation and synthesis processes that use an electric field.

In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys training for ultra-marathons, reading, and playing hockey.
