PhD Student, Chemical Engineering, University of Toronto (2021-Current)
B.Sc., Chemical Engineering, Virginia Tech, (2016-2021)

Jocelyn graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. During her undergrad, Jocelyn worked on polymer synthesis for membrane fabrication and polymer engineering related to extrusion-based additive manufacturing. At the University of Toronto, Jocelyn first gained experience with electrochemical characterization and the design of aluminum ion batteries for applications to energy storage technology. She joined Prof. Werber’s group in 2023 and started a new focus on the development of highly-selective membranes through interfacial polymerization for reverse osmosis.

In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys marathon training, reading, and playing hockey.
