Kairu is an undergraduate researcher working in the AM lab focused on building an automated system for interfacial polymerization of nanofilms as well as assisting PhD Student JiaHao Zhu in studying support liquid membranes for metal separation. Kairu’s past experience was in the Complex Fluids Lab where his work focused on microcapsule fabrication using microfluidic and non microfluidic approaches.
In his free time, Kairu likes to lose water bottles (he’s lost 10 over the span of 9 months), read manga, and aura farm. It can also be noted that Kairu loves vacationing in vivid imagination, a new life amidst moonlight.
