Usan is a second-year Mechatronics Engineering student working in the Advanced Membranes Lab. They are assisting PhD student Hongchen Wang in developing a platform for automated synthesis and testing of high-pressure reverse osmosis membranes under the supervision of Dr. Jason Hattrick-Simpers and Dr. Jay Werber.
In their free time, they enjoy working on and tinkering with open-source and open-hardware projects, especially RepRap 3D printers and Linux.
