Congratulations to Sara and J.L. Vasconcelos on the birth of their daughter Olivia on Friday Mar 19, 2015. Baby Olivia is definitely getting the most sleep of all 3 of them, but everyone is doing well.

Milica Radisic inducted into Medical and Biological Engineering Elite

The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Professor Milica Radisic to its College of Fellows. Professor Radisic was nominated, reviewed and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows in recognition of her innovative research on the design and laboratory development of heart tissue. A formal induction ceremony was held during AIMBE’s 2015 Annual Meeting at the National Academy of Sciences Great Hall in Washington, DC on March 16, 2015.

Radisic lab goes Curling outdoors..during the coldest Canadian winter on record! Tues Feb 10 our lab enjoyed 2 hours of curling, followed by a chinese feast to honor the New Year.

Radisic Lab gets together for a Baby shower for Anne.These engineers can sew! 7 sock Monkeys produced (without even the help of our 3D printer!). Update: Marcus was born Dec 24/14 and is a thriving healthy and hungry baby.
